What is a Treasure Book (also called a Junk Journal) ?

A very personal, hand made book that is part art project, part scrapbook, part journal and 100% fun!

A no-rules, liberating, paper crafting project.

A book created around a theme and/or color palette that has meaning to you.

A book made of a wide variety of paper and fabric products; new, up-cycled and recycled, including but not limited to art paper, magazine pages, music scores, cards, envelopes, dyed papers…actually anything paper that you like!

How do you use a Treasure Book ?
Lots of people new to Treasure Books/Junk Journals ask me this question. The answer is you would use it just like you would use a regular daytimer/journal/notebook. The uses are both endless and personal. Treasure Books make great :

What to Expect :
Choose between the Vintage & Lace, or Sunshine & Fun Treasure Book option. ( *Important; you will be asked to choose your option when you register)
In this 3 hour class, you will use a wide variety of paper/upcycled/recycled products to assemble and bind a very personal Treasure Book. Your journal will contain many pockets and tuck spots it’s basic construction.
*For this is a Make-N-Take class all materials are provided.
Then what? Either on your own, or join me to:

Decorate Your Treasure Book - Once you take your journal home you can decorate it to your hearts content!
OR

Sign up for follow up classes, (1) Tucks N Tags (2) Pockets -N- Envelopes, (3) Edges/Lace & Clips, which will walk you through a variety of techniques, embellishments, and paper crafts that will glam your Treasure Book beyond your wildest dreams!!
